Home Depot Averts Proxy Fight
Home Depot averted a proxy fight by entering an agreement with Relational Investors: David Batchelder, founder of Relational Investors, will go on the board and join the Audit and Compensation Committees, and four directors associated with the hiring of deposed CEO Nardelli will leave.
