New Book on Post-Kelo Eminent Domain
Today's mail brought my copy of Private Property, Community Development, and Eminent Domain, edited by Robin Paul Malloy. The book contains essays by Tom Allen, Carol Brown, Eric Claeys, Rachel Godsil, Robin Malloy, Marc Pairier, David Simunovich, Jim Smith, and Michael Allen Wolf, and yours truly. My contribution is my essay on the Berman and Midkiff conference notes.

Just ordered the book! As someone working in the trenches of property development, one might be surprised that I view the Kelo decision as a far reaching negative impact on the property development industry. Uncertainty of owner rights and protections reduces property values by increasing the risk of property development or simply buying a home for that matter. Look forward to the read.
