Chancery Court Conference at Columbia and bloggers
Columbia Law School is sponsoring a conference today on the Delaware Chancery Court. According to Gordon Smith of the The Conglomerate, Bill Savitt of Wachtell just said the following:
... one reason the Delaware courts are in a better position than other courts to legislate or regulate, rather than just deciding incrementally, is that Delaware decisions are subject to extensive commentary from academic bloggers!
