U. S. Government Asked Yahoo For Data Nearly 12,500 Times In First Six Months of 2013

Yahoo has released information indicating that various governments around the world asked it for data nearly 30,000 times in the first six months of 2013. The U.S. government's requests accounted for 42 percent of the total.
