California Extends Film, TV Tax Credit Program To 2017California's Governor Jerry Brown has signed an extension of the California film and tv tax credit to lure film and tv production back to the state. The extension, to run through 2017, will subsidize the entertainment industry up to $100 million a year. Some tv series that have fled to more friendly venues and agree to come back to California will get even more favorable treatment. More here from the Hollywood Reporter.
