ICE, Movie Studios Attack Internet Pirates

Operation In Our Sites is underway, and it has already yielded takedowns of Internet sites which made popular movies and tv episodes available without permission. ICE and major Hollywood Studios cooperated to seize the sites as well as assets from banks and PayPal which were holding revenue generated from the sites. Alan Bergman, President of Walt Disney Studios, noted that the effort to attack Internet entertainment piracy is crucial to the economic well being of the movie and tv industry.
