News International Admission on Dismissal of NOTW Editor Clive Goodman

News International, the former employer of Clive Goodman, former royal editor at News of the World, who was convicted of hacking Prince Harry's phone, says now that it paid Mr. Goodman a settlement because it failed to follow proper procedures when it terminated his employment. The Guardian reports that News International believed that had Mr. Goodman raised the issue of his termination with a labor tribunal, he could easily have won.
