Malaysian High Court Rules Non-Muslims May Use "Allah" As Translation For "God"

A Catholic newspaper has won its fight to use the word "Allah" as a translation of the word "God." The Malaysian High Court announced the decision last week, saying the government's ban of the use of the word by non-Muslims was unconstitutional.
