New Technologies, Citizen Reporters, Bring News of Violence, Protests in Iran
Because the foreign press is barred from reporting on site on events in Iran without prior government permission, it is relying on citizen reporters for information on the gathering protests, and information on those protests seems to be pouring in via new technologies like Twitter.
