Team Behind Internet Site Pirate Bay Stands Trial In Sweden
The founders of the Pirate Bay filesharing website have gone on trial for copyright violation. The Swedish prosecutor is seeking a sentence of up to two years in prison and nearly $150,000 in fines. Read more here. The Pirate Bay website has become famous over the past three years for various Internet feats, including last fall's appeal of a blocking order issued by an Italian court.
