The Hollywood Reporter has an article in today's paper on the new rules proposed by the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting under which photographers could film in public places without a permit. The New York Civil LIberties Union, however, says that some of the rules, which require permits for two or more persons filming for more than 30 minutes in public places could apply to tourists, for example.
