FCC Ends Investigation Into Possible Wal-Mart Violation of Section 301
The FCC and Wal-Mart have entered into a consent decree terminating an agency investigation "initiated by the Enforcement Bureau regarding whether Wal-Mart violated Section 301 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended...and Section 25.102(a) and 25.117(a) of the Commissions Rules... by modifying its satellite each station facilities without authorization and operating these facilities at variance from the terms of the authorizations."
