Voting Machine Firm Asks HBO to Cancel Airing of Documentary; HBO Votes No
The Diebold company, makers of electronic voting machines, has asked HBO to cancel its upcoming airing of "Hacking Democracy", or to air short disclaimers about the show's content to alert viewers, but HBO has refused both requests. Diebold is unhappy about claims made on HBO's website that voting machines caused problems with previous elections and might cause problems this year. Here's criticism of the HBO program from the Diebold website.
