EchoStar Gets Temporary Stay of Injunction Order

EchoStar, which lost a patent infringement lawsuit earlier this year over DVR technology to the much smaller TiVo Inc., has succeeded in winning a temporary stay of the injunction that TiVo won only a few days ago. TiVo had won a massive jury verdict against the much bigger company in a case closely watched by cable and satellite TV service providers. EchoStar appealed the order late last week.
