PRC Takes "Da Vinci Code" Out of Chinese Movie Theaters
The Chinese government has decided to close movie theaters nationwide to showings of the popular "Da Vinci Code" three weeks after the film opened. The Catholic Church in China had called for a ban, but a spokesperson for the company distributing the film said the decision to end showings was based on reduced ticket sales.
