Heather Mills McCartney has decided to file suit against News of the World, alleging defamation over the paper's publication of 1988 photographs, and an accompanying article. Mills says the photos were from a "lover's manual". She also called statements in the paper that she had had sex for money before her marriage "untrue and highly defamatory." The paper labels the pictures as "obscene and pornographic." The estranged wife of former Beatle Paul McCartney will delay the proceeding until her divorce is finalized. Read more here. Some commentators say that many of the stories surfacing now about Mills McCartney are not new; they are simply being given new life now that she and her husband have separated and interest in the couple has suddenly increased.
