Lawyers for AP, Plaintiff Ask Judge to Unseal Records in Cosby Case
Lawyers for the Associated Press and for the plaintiff in a civil suit accusing comedian Bill Cosby of sexual assault have asked U. S. District Court judge Eduardo Robreno to unseal some records pertaining to the proceeding. The plaintiff's attorneys say Cosby has been commenting on the case to the media; Cosby's lawyers claim release of such information would be prejudicial. In court Monday, details of Cosby's interview deal with the National Enquirer also came out. The tabloid apparently was willing to let him edit the piece. Read more here in the Biloxi Sun-Herald.
