resistance is futile ...

American University's Washington College of Law is planning a third How Legal Rhetoric Shapes the World colloquium for October 15-16, 2010. This colloquium will focus on legal writing scholarship. If you have written or are working on something either on legal writing pedagogy or on other aspects of the intersection of legal writing and the law, please send a one-page abstract to Terry Phelps, at tphelps@WCL.AMERICAN.EDU by August 20. Part of the colloquium will be devoted to pedagogy, with panels of 25-minute papers and responses; part will be devoted to other kinds of legal writing scholarship. The organizers are particularly interested in developments in new fields – edgy, exciting, creative new excursions into other areas of law.
