who should be hired to teach legal writing?

Applicationform3 A few days ago, we told you about the lawsuit filed against the University of Iowa School of Law by a disappointed candidate for a legal writing job. The news has been reported on other blogs, including The Faculty Lounge, and The Volokh Conspiracy. Comments on the Lounge's post raise many interesting points about legal writing positions and desirable qualities for legal writing teachers, particularly at the entry level.
