call for proposals

Professor Cynthia Bulan has sent a reminder that the deadline is June 1st to submit a proposal to speak at the Southeast Legal Writing Conference, which will be held at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday and Saturday September 7th and 8th.  The topic for the conference is Teaching the Basics:  Practical Ideas for the Legal Research and Writing Classroom.  The conference ogranizers welcome presentations that are 20, 30, or 50 minutes long; their goal is to maximize the number of people who will have an opportunity to present.  Your proposal needs to include a paragraph summarizing your presentation, the amount of time you're requesting (20, 30, or 50 minutes), and some indication as to how flexible you are about the time.

Send your proposals to:

Anthony Niedwiecki,, or

Cindy Bulan,, the chair of the conference.
