ABA accreditation authority renewed for only 18 months, not 5 years

The ABA's authority as the accrediting body for law schools has been renewed, but not via the standard five-year extension. The Department of Education has given it 18 months. For the full report, go to http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d07314.pdf.
