Advice for entering law students on what not to do

The new law school year is starting soon (for me, orientation starts next week). In light of that, the ABA Journal Blog is asking readers for their best advice to rising 1L students about what not to do as they begin law school. For instance, if you're going to be starting law school in the next few weeks, don't get a pet, don't miss classes (as new students will soon find out, aside from missing vital information and the need to maximize every learning opportunity at the start of your law school career, there are dire consequences to missing too many classes under the ABA accreditation standards), and don't take yourself too seriously, etc., etc. Please contribute your own words of wisdom as part of this informal ABA Journal poll here and share them with our readers too in the comments below.

Don't Let yourself get sick. Eat right. Get enough sleep. If you discover that you have a toxic roommate, move.
