Legal sector loses 1,100 jobs in November

The second consecutive decline (October's decline has been revised from 900 lost jobs to 400) after a tentative upswing during late summer.  The AmLaw Daily has the details.

Legal Sector Lost 1,100 Jobs in November

The legal sector shed 1,100 jobs in November, marking the second straight month that the number of people employed in the industry declined, according to seasonally adjusted preliminary data released Friday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

So far this year, the legal industry has added a total of 3,000 jobs and currently employs 1.128 million people—2,500 more than it did at this time last year.
