Social Media Habits Among Our Future Students

Here’s a report on social media habits by students currently applying to college—our future students.  Twitter is the growth stock, but keep your eye on Instagram. From Education
Week
:

While Facebook is still used by 67 percent of students surveyed, that's a 12
percentage-point drop from last year, the September issue of eCampus News reports.
Use of YouTube dropped from 62 percent in 2012 to 32 percent in this year's
survey. Google Plus engagement by young people also declined from 20 percent last
year to 5 percent.

At the same time, students are more active on Twitter with nearly 30 percent using
the social-media site, up 1 percentage point from last year. Nearly 15 percent
of students said they were active on Instagram, which was new to the survey
this year.
