Department of Justice’s FOIA.Gov & Other Open Government Resources
The Department of Justice has launched this web resource for FOIA information and data.
Learn about FOIA, browse the data on FOIA requests and compliance, and find contact information for government agencies. This is another step in the direction of Open Government.
Other useful Open Government tools include the following:
- Data.gov - find and download free government data
- Regulations.gov – locate and comment on agency proposed rules
- USAJobs.gov – job postings for employment with the federal government.
- USA.Gov - US Government portal site
