Do we really need yet another law school?

File this under "you gotta be kidding me!"  The University of Delaware wants to open a law school by 2015.   You can read more about it here courtesy of the online ABA Journal Blog and here courtesy of Above the Law.  Like there aren't already enough overly leveraged, unemployed law grads along the eastern corridor.

Yes, actually we do need another PUBLIC law school, in Delaware and any other state that doesn't have one. Public law schools aren't the problem - their tuition rates for resident students are typically half the tuition at private schools, and their graduates typically leave with a manageable debt load. If there are too many law grads, the solution lies elsewhere.
