An attorney once considered among the leaders of the divorce bar in the Washington metropolitan area has been disbarred by the District of Columbia Court of Appeals as reciprocal discipline for sanctions imposed in Virginia.
The Washington Post reported on the Virginia action, describing the attorney as a former Bar president who had been one of the highest paid domestic relations attorney in the region.
The Post notes that the bar proceedings had theier genesis in a suit filed by the attorney against a former client. (Mike Frisch)
