Crossing the Line
The Georgia Supreme Court has accepted a petition for voluntary surrender of the law license of an attorney admitted in 1995. The attorney was convicted of felony offenses involving distribution of a controlled substance and "crossing a guard line with and delivering a controlled substance (Fentanyl) to an inmate." The court treats the voluntary surrender of a law license as tantamount to disbarment. (Mike Frisch)June 1, 2010 in Bar Discipline & Process | Permalink
