False Claims To Obtain Legal Business Leads To Censure

The Colorado Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a conditional admission and publicly censured an attorney who made "false and/or misleading statements regarding his law firm's eligibility for inclusion in E.I. Du Pont de Nemours and Company's Diverse Legal Supplier Program." In addition, the attorney made false biographical representations in an e-mail concerning his transition team experience.
