Convicted Justice Disbarred
The New York Appellate Division for the Third Judicial Department has accepted the resignation of a former state Supreme Court Justice and entered an order of disbarment. The former justice had been convicted of bribery and extortion in federal court. Details concerning the underlying criminal matter may be found in this report from the Village Voice.
