USNWR Reveals Washington Snafu - Top 100 to be Reduced to Top 95

According to a report just out, senior editors of US News and World Reports have scheduled a meeting next week with the deans from the law school at Washington University - St. Louis, the University of Washington, the Washington College of Law at American University, and the Washington & Lee Law School to explain why all five are being dropped from this year's USNWR ranking. "We realize now that there was extensive confusion in the peer surveys sent out this year, and we have no reliable way of knowing if the results for those schools are accurate," said an unnamed US News executive. "Several deans also managed to confuse George Mason, Georgia, and McGeorge with those five," he added. The meeting is scheduled for Washington Court House, Ohio.
