O'Donnell on Social Norms and the Law

Our friend and frequent commenter Patrick O'Donnell has a piece in Theory and Science on "Social Norms & Law:  An Introduction."  Not directly on the subject of this blog (but that has never stopped me), but he also has a review in Philosophy East & West (52:2, April 2007) of Islamic Aesthetics:  An Introduction by Oliver Leaman.

Oh my goodness. I didn't expect you to post links to these! But of course I'm grateful and glad you did: perhaps now there will be more readers than I have fingers and toes. Incidentally, no less than Brian Tamanaha had some kind things to say about the 'social norms' piece, which has inspired me to pursue the subject in more depth anon.

Jeff: All friends in your virtuous circle are rather fortunate.
