New Topic On South Dakota Bar Exam
South Dakota will include Indian Law on future bar examinations. The announcement states that an understanding of this topic is necessary to practice in the state. (Mike Frisch)

A welcome development and long overdue. If any law students from South Dakota (or anyone else for that matter) would be interested in a bibliography of books on "North American Indian Law" (with a list of important internet research sites as well), I'll send along my compilation, an earlier version of which is available at PrawfsBlawg as part of their "research canons" project.
