He May Not Have Been Representing GE, But We Thank Him Nevertheless for a Timeless Apparent Authority Hypothetical

β€œOn behalf of Jeff Immelt and other sane people at GE, I say, β€˜f**k you.’”  I'm hoping Alan is right, but if he is I'm going to have to delete what I've just put into my Agency, Partnership & LLC class notes.  And if it came from prankmail, unless the Gibson, Dunn press comment was also a prank, why didn't it say so?  Instead of admitting that it was sent, but was not authorized?
