"Unique" (Meaning Non-Legal) Career Advice for Law School Grads from US News

The US News Law Admissions LowDown blog identifies five alternative careers for law school grads:

  1. Journalism
  2. Real estate
  3. Nonprofit management
  4. Entrepreneurship
  5. The Arts

I'm thinking not one of the listed career paths at the entry level will contribute much income for paying off law school tuition indebtedness. [JH]

Law Librarianship isn't exactly compatible with repaying significant educational debt, either. I think that that fact helps to explain why so many law librarians come to the field as a mid-life career change, as I did.

It might also help to explain why so many law librarians love their job. No doubt it beats whatever they happened to be doing before!

How about law librarian? Still seems to being doing pretty well as a profession despite the downturn. And every law librarian I have ever talked to seems to love their job, which is rarity by itself.
