Lisa, The Technical and Commercial Flop that Changed Desktop Computing, Was Launched Today
Remember Lisa, the first commercial personal computer with a GUI? It was launched by Apple on Jan. 19, 1983. Sure it was "an overpriced, underpowered cobbled-together ramshackle Mac," quoting Leander Kahney in Wired's This Day in Tech column: Apple Gets Graphic With Lisa. Interesting little article. [JH]
