Is There an e-Book Reader in Your Future?

Forrester Research forecasts the US e-Reader market to grow from 1 million units to 12 million by 2012 but an e-Book reader is not in my future. I'm liking the mini-laptop as an alternative to largely tethered, single purpose gizmos.
