LC Thomas Implements Persistent URLs
You can now create persistent URLs for legislative resources on Thomas using LC's Legislative Handles syntax. Thanks to this service, it will now be very easy to type in legislative links to bibliographies, reference guides, emails, blogs, or webpages.
How to create a Legislative Handles. Begin the URL with the handle domain name -- http://hdl.loc.gov/ -- then add loc.uscongress. Add a slash and the name of the collection, legislation, followed by a period and the congress number, 110. Finally, add the bill type abbreviation and the bill number.

http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.uscongress/legislation.110hr4544
http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.uscongress/legislation.110hres655
More info on the Legislative Handle help page. Great job, LC! [JH]
