Face to Face with a Guantánamo Detainee, Tonight at 6:30 pm
The Georgetown University Law Center is presenting "Face to Face with a Guantánamo Detainee," a videoconference with former Guantánamo detainee, Moazzam Begg, followed with remarks by Gitanjali Gutierrez, attorney, Guantánamo Global Justice Initiative, Center for Constitutional Rights. This event is sponsored by the Georgetown Law Muslim Law Students Association and Georgetown Law's Human Rights Action.

About the Participants
Moazzan Begg's recent book, "Enemy Combatant: My Imprisonment at Guantánamo, Bagram, and Kandahar" (New Press, 2006), details his incarceration at Guantánamo, Kandahar, and Bagram. He will talk about his experience and take questions from the audience.
Gitanjali Gutierrez was one of the first lawyers to visit Guantánamo and currently represents detainee Mohammed Al Qahtani. She also recently filed a habeas petition on behalf of detainees in Bagram and will discuss her experience visiting those imprisoned in Guantánamo.
