Opening: Electronic Services Librarian, GMU Law Library

The George Mason University Law Library in Arlington, Virginia is seeking a creative and energetic librarian to develop and maintain the School of Law's website, provide support and training to faculty, staff and students in the use of a variety of electronic resources, and work closely with other departments to develop, implement, and support current and emerging technologies in the law library and law school. This position will also participate in the faculty liaison program, collection development, and legal research training classes for law students. Qualifications: M.L.S. from an ALA accredited library school and J.D. from an ABA accredited law school plus demonstrated experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Solid knowledge of legal resources required; experience with teaching or training desirable. Ability to communicate and work effectively with faculty and students and strong customer service skills are essential. Web design, site organization, and site development skills using content management systems or development tools such as Dreamweaver are required.

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
