"The global economy is currently robust with strong growth in many markets including the United States and China. Yet the global economy is also plagued by serious imbalances that threaten to derail the current strength. Debate rages over how and when these imbalances will be corrected and whether that process will be disruptive or benign. This report examines that debate, considers future scenarios  and offers suggestions for managing the risks.
