Is Republishing Prof's Headshot Obtained from University Website Fair Use?
The Chronicle of Higher Education is reporting that Stanford Middle Eastern History Prof Joel S. Beinin is suing David Horowitz for copyright infringement for publishing a pamphlet that featured the professor's photograph on its cover. The photo, according to Horowitz, was obtained from Professor Beinin's Standford web page.
