One Law Prof's Perspective on Post-Katrina Tulane Law School

TaxProf Blog has posted a personal statement by Tulane Law Prof John Eason. No mention of the law library ... hum.

I find this prof's perspective oh so positive. Apparently what's important here is that the University's endowment hasn't suffered a hit, the law school has emerged from the University's restructuring "virtually unscathed," the law faculty's book and travel allowance has been restored, and  law school will reduce next year's 1L admissions. For an institution pleading poverty and discharging library staff, I find all this incredulous.

At Check This Out, Jim Milles has published a podcast about Tulane. Jim interviews Lance Query, University Librarian and Interim Director of the Law Library, and Ray Lytle, former Head of Public Services at Tulane Law Library. Should be interesting (read haven't listened to it yet). Check it out.
