Death Penalty -- Again
BE Press has just posted three articles of great interest to law and economics: (1) a short piece by John Donohue and Justin Wolfers, "The Death Penalty: No Evidence for Deterrence" (available here), a summary of their recent, much longer Stanford Law Review article, (2) a brief reply by Paul Rubin (available here), and (3) a reply by Donohue and Wolfers (available here). Excellent and important reading.
