I'm writing a piece on happiness studies and what they might mean for law and economics. I'll post a draft of that article in the next six weeks. The subject of positive or hedonic psychology is a fascinating one. Today's Wall Street Journal has a short article on how happiness studies are influencing some business decisions about such things as how salespeople treat you and what advertising should do to indicate that you'll be happy if you try the advertised product. See the article here.
