Employment Cause of Action Under CFAA

CfaaMichael Maslanka over at Work Matters discusses employment cases being brought by employers against former employees under the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA).  A typical scenario: the employer alleges that an employee accessed its computer system, took confidential information, and later used it on a competitor’s behalf.
