Battista Withdraws Nomination

Nlrb I don't have official word yet, but it appears that Robert Battista, former Chairman of the NLRB, has asked President Bush to withdraw his nomination for a new term on the Board.  Battista apparently has accepted a position in Littler Mendelsohn's D.C. office.  Not a big surprise given that he had zero chance of getting confirmed before the next election and not much more of a chance after that.

UPDATE:  The press release is here.
