International Climate Policy Meeting in Lund
Dear all,
This is a kind reminder for the 15th research workshop of the European Ph.D. Network on International Climate Policy.
The workshop will take place in Lund (Sweden), 12th - 13th October 2007 and is hosted by the Climate Policy Research Group at Lund University, Sweden (www.fpi.lu.se/climate/).
It is open to Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral researchers from all disciplines working on different aspects of international climate policy. The aim of the workshop is to give the participants the opportunity to present their theses or other current work, and to discuss these with international colleagues working within the area of climate policy. Participants are expected to also serve as discussants.
Please register by 12th September 2007 by filling out the attached registration form.

Position: Public Interest Environmental Lawyer
Location: Brussels
Description: ClientEarth, a new pan-European environmental law non-profit seeks a lawyer to open its Brussels Office. The person must be a highly qualified lawyer in a Member State with at least five years experience, including work on cases. This position is the first lawyer in what is planned as a dynamic and growing office. The successful candidate will be experienced in EU environmental law and policy, know Brussels, be able to perform policy analysis, lobby, do administrative complaints, work successfully in teams and with networks of NGOs across the EU, and ideally bring cases in at least one Member State. Fluent written and spoken English required, fluency in another European language desirable. Salary and benefits depend on level of experience; position to start asap.
