UN General Assembly Again Calls for End to US Embargo of Cuba

UN General AssemblyFor the 22nd consecutive year, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution calling for an end to the economic, commercial, and financial blockade of Cuba imposed by the United States.  The resolution passed by a vote of 188 in favour to two against (Israel and the United States) with three abstentions (the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau).
