This semester I am co-teaching the International Law Class at The John Marshall Law School with Professor William Mock. Our guest speaker tomorrow in that International Law Class is the Honorable Mr. Justice John L. Murray of the Supreme Court of Ireland, who served as Chief Justice from 2004 to 2011. He continues to serve on the Court as the Senior Ordinary Judge. He previously also served as Attorney General of Ireland in 1982 and again from 1987 to 1991 and then as a Judge of the Court of Justice of the European Union from 1991 to 1999.
In addition to his judicial duties, Mr. Justice Murray is Chancellor of the University of Limerick and Honorary Co-Chair of the International Law Institute in Washington, D.C. Justice Murray is at The John Marshall Law School this week as the Distinguished International Jurist in Residence.
